Description

Step back in time with the Fender 'wide panel tweed' Deluxe Amp 5D3, a beloved classic among guitarists seeking authentic vintage tones. Originally introduced in the 1950s, this iconic amplifier is renowned for its rich, warm sound that defined a generation of music. Perfectly blending vintage aesthetics with modern reliability, the 5D3 is a faithful reproduction of its legendary predecessor, capturing the essence of early rock and blues.

This amp is celebrated for its distinctive Class A/B push-pull circuitry, delivering a harmonically rich and dynamic response that is both articulate and powerful. The 12-watt output is perfect for studio recordings and intimate gigs, providing a sweet breakup at lower volumes. With a single 12-inch speaker, this combo amp offers a full-bodied sound that fills the room with vibrant tones.

The simplicity of the 5D3's design makes it a favorite among purists who appreciate its straightforward, no-frills approach. With just two instrument inputs, a volume control for each, and a shared tone control, players can easily dial in their signature sound. The tweed covering and leather handle add to its vintage charm, making it as visually appealing as it is sonically impressive.

I believe that the amp the is using in the linked performance is a fender tweed deluxe amplifier. He uses many different amps in his live shows so this is one of many but I know he does have and use tweed deluxes.
