Living on the Frontline (IT Nov 86)

muzines.co.uk

The Frontline Delay pedal offers decent value for budget-conscious musicians, housed in a sturdy metal case. The Stereo Delay stands out for its clean sound and low noise, despite limited delay times. The Stereo Chorus impresses with its crisp sound, while the Phaser delivers a good effect range. However, the Flanger disappoints with noticeable noise and limited range. The Overdrive pedals are subtle, ideal for adding texture to chords, but the Heavy Metal Distortion is harsh and less appealing than its cheaper sibling. Overall, the Frontline pedals present mixed results, with some models offering solid performance for the price.
