The Gibson Resurrection
After years when quality was no longer Gibson's priority, these new Standard 50's series seems to demonstrate that the old company has understood that it is going straight into the wall if it does not correct its mistakes. I bought mine (brand new) in March 2022 and I’d been able to try 6 of them (all in Tobacco Burst finish), boxes were opened in front of me. Well the 6 were perfectly finished, of high quality and all sounded great! My choice was therefore purely aesthetic to have a body in one piece and a table as less flamed as possible (I find it hideous tables that are too flamed in TB). So I've had this LP for over a year and I still love it so much, it's a real gem!
