Description

Introducing the iConnectivity PlayAUDIO12, a dual-USB audio and MIDI interface designed specifically for live performances. This device is the ultimate solution for musicians and sound engineers who rely on computer audio and MIDI for their live shows. It's perfect for controlling and playing backing tracks, virtual instruments and more, all with the assurance of a fail-proof, bulletproof system.

Designed by those who know the demands of live performances, the PlayAUDIO12 is built to deliver studio quality interfacing in the live arena. It features 12 ultra-low noise outputs for the crispest sound. But the standout feature is the fail-over protection - add a second computer and if one fails, the PlayAUDIO12 instantly switches to the other, preventing any embarrassing mid-show silences.

It also allows for the connection of up to 8 MIDI Class Compliant controllers and sound modules, with the potential for more via the unique iConnectivity USB MIDI Host port. For large stages, you can even create a MIDI network across long distances thanks to the built-in PA12 Ethernet interface.

iConnectivity PlayAudio12 interface review - Higher Hz

higherhz.com

The iConnectivity PlayAudio12 is a niche interface tailored for live performance, boasting impressive multi-computer connectivity and solid build quality. However, its lack of true audio inputs and dedicated preamps limits its versatility, making it less appealing for those outside the electronic music realm. While perfect for its intended use, its specialized nature may leave some musicians wanting more.
