Its 8-band vocoder allows you to capture and "freeze" the formants of your voice, then play it across the keyboard or shift the formant frequency to make your voice sound any way you wish.
Not only does it offer powerful sound generation, but it's also compact and portable. The MicroKORG's mini-keyboard sports 37 velocity-sensitive keys, MIDI in/out and thru, and can run from its power supply or 6 AA batteries. It's perfect for the musician on the go and fantastic for live shows, thanks to its easy program selection and LED illuminated buttons.

affordable dsp synth with vintage charm and versatile vocoder
The cheapest and by far one of the best DSP Synths money can buy. I love it's vintage looks and the fact that I can play with it for hours to find all manor of weird and wonderful sounds. Add on top of that the classic style vocoder and it already adds another dimension

Wonderful Synth to Get You Runnin'
While the vocoder isn't much to it, the instrument really is just fun to mess around with, but mostly to sit there for a while and come up with something crazy. But be careful, for myself it's easy to find yourself losing your body while editing.

Cool synth, don't use it enough
This synth is cool, but programming it is such a pain in the ass that I don't use it much in tracks. That being said the sounds that it makes are really nice.
