Recording Magazine Reviews: LEWITT LCT 440 PURE Microphone

recordingmag.com

The Lewitt LCT 440 PURE is a no-frills microphone that delivers exceptional sound quality at an impressive price of $269. It captures audio with clarity and richness, making it suitable for a variety of applications. However, its lack of features like multiple polar patterns and onboard filters might deter some users looking for versatility. Despite this, its straightforward design and sound fidelity make it an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned professionals, especially if considering stereo setups. Overall, the LCT 440 PURE stands out as a smart investment for any mic locker.

positive

Lewitt LCT 440 Pure

soundonsound.com

Affordable and versatile, the Lewitt LCT 440 Pure delivers impressive sound quality for both vocals and instruments, showcasing a bright, airy character without harshness. Its thoughtful accessories, including a solid shockmount and pop shield, enhance its user-friendliness. However, the lack of a proper storage case might leave some wanting. Overall, this microphone stands out in its price range, making it a solid choice for home studios, though those seeking a warmer tone may need to adjust their technique.

Lewitt LCT 440 Pure review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

Lewitt's LCT 440 Pure is a standout in the budget condenser microphone arena, delivering exceptional sound quality and a premium feel at an accessible price. Its robust design and versatile sound profile make it an appealing choice for vocalists and instrumentalists alike. However, the mic's simplicity—limited to a single cardioid pattern and lacking onboard controls—might not suit those needing more flexibility for varied recording situations. While it excels in clarity, the low-end response can get a bit boomy without proper management. Overall, this mic shines as a reliable workhorse for home studios, but it’s best for single-source recordings.

Beautiful modern condenser mic

LCT 440 PURE is a relatively bright/airy-sounding microphone but with a very natural-sounding high end. Build quality is solid and it works great on so many sources. Definitely a workhorse condenser comparable to a C414 in terms of use cases. One of the best "first mics" you could buy due to the simplicity and cost/performance ratio.

acoustic777

Bright and sparkly in a musical way

Great on acoustic fingerstyle, not the best match for my voice (baritone man) really quality mic though and very low noise! Cool company

fingerstylist

Loves the bridge position for acoustic fingerstyle

Does add a sparkle, but it's a musical sparkle. Other than that, it's nice and clean. Very low self-noise. Great mic! Cool company.

maximodisfrute

Great bright sound!

Great bright sound without high sibilance. Its a clone of AKG C214, same Austrian ingeneers worked at it. Its an excelent opcion por its price.
