Critic Reviews

Lovepedal Les Lius review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Lovepedal Les Lius offers musicians an enticing peek into vintage Fender 'tweed' tones, capturing the essence of late 50s amps like the Deluxe and Twin. Its simplicity is a standout, making it easy to achieve rich, dirty sounds reminiscent of Neil Young and Keef. While it may not boast the versatility of broader double overdrives, its niche appeal is undeniable for those craving old-school Fender vibes. A must-have for enthusiasts of classic tones, though it might not cater to all tastes. Overall, a delightful addition for those chasing iconic tweed sounds.

That tweedy sound

I love everything about this little box of wonders. I have used (and stil use) a lot of dirt boxes and the Les Lius is one of my favorites. If you're looking for a transparent overdrive then the Les Lius is not for you. This pedal was designed to emulate the sound of a cranked tweed amp and it does it with style. I mainly use it in the middle position (high power twin) on my Palmer Fab 5 amp. Awesome combination !
