Description
Step into a world of sonic exploration with the Malekko Heavy Industry Omicron Series Fuzz, a compact powerhouse designed for the adventurous guitarist. This analog fuzz pedal is inspired by the classic Germanium diode fuzz pedals of yesteryear, reimagined to deliver a wide spectrum of fuzz tones—all housed in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure. With just two intuitive controls, VOL and DRIVE, you can effortlessly dial in anything from a subtle boost to a full-on fuzz frenzy.
The real magic, however, lies beneath the surface. Hidden within the pedal is a three-position internal switch that unlocks a trifecta of tonal possibilities. Flip to position 1 for a sweet octave fuzz that sings with clarity, or switch to position 2 for a heavier, scooped tone that packs a punch. For those who crave something more, the middle position blends both tones together for a supremely heavy and crushing effect sure to inspire your creativity.
Beyond its versatility, the Omicron Series Fuzz is engineered for practicality. Its minimalist design ensures it fits seamlessly onto any pedalboard, while its robust construction guarantees durability. Whether you're pushing the boundaries of genre or simply seeking to enrich your sound palette, this pedal is your ticket to fuzz nirvana.

FUZZZ
The Malekko Omicron Fuzz is great Super-Fuzz clone. An internal 3 way switch selects the mode: the top position has a trebly velcro octave fuzz sound, the low position for scooped mids and evil low end and the middle position is a blend of both. There is also an internal bias that can be set for more octave or grit. The pedal is too small for a battery and it uses a standard 9V DC negative tip power supply. An isolated power supply (like a T-Rex Fuel Tank or similar) is recommended to avoid any additional hiss.
