Great Marshall sounds on both gain and clean channels.

I was not excited about getting a tube amp with any digital modeling (Reverb + chorus + vibe + delay), however the amp sounds amazing!! For low wattage of only 15 W which nearly everyone is going with nowadays anyhow, it's got plenty of punch from the 6v6 power section, crispy yet clear tones all throughout the range, and loud. I've done many a gig with this amp and since house usually mics everything I've never had it past probably 3. At home alone, never had it past 5. Carries 3 12ax7/ecc83 in the preamp for plenty of gain control. I personally run the gain about 3-4 and push with 1 or 2 gain pedals to taste. I like having the option of 2 channels and the effects are on/off foot switchable but must be selected on the front panel. The only thing that I actually don't like about this amp is that it doesn't have an effects Loop. Since it already has internal effects, an effects Loop was really kind of pointless. :-)
