Best tube amp around for the price.
I absolutely love this thing for the price that it goes for nowadays. It's a little bit older, so you can pick them up for around $200-$300. Pros: -Amazing tones from soft, warm tube tones to screeching British distortion. -Literally a FULL-SIZE hybrid tube amp for under $400. -Loud as hell. -Phenomenally good FX. -Headphone out. -FX Loop. Cons: -So. Damn. Heavy. -Takes forever for the tubes to warm up. I mean like CONSIDERABLY longer than most tube amps. Maybe a full 15 seconds.
One of the Best amps I've played on
I always wanted a Marshall amp. Growing up listening to ACDC, this was a given. I found myself this in a second hand store and there has never been a day I regretted it. This thing is heavy so transporting it is not easy. It really pays off when it comes to the tone. I love that it is a cross between a valve and a transistor amp. It gives me the tones I want from everything from the classic ACDC sound to Bring Me The Horizon's heavy drop tuned riffs.
This was a bargain but then i found out why
I bought a 150watt version of this amp in a shop in coulsdon, i played it in the shop and fell in love with it, wide range of effects and sounds, i bought it for £175 and had it for 3 months until the sound went one day, i took it back to the shop, guy said he would have a look and he did, he said these amps have a few problems and he couldn't repair mine so he refunded me (great shop owner)
