Description
Introducing the Neumann KH 310 A, an active studio monitor that delivers an exceptional performance for both professional and home studios. This three-way monitor is powered by Class AB amplifiers, ensuring that each driver receives clean, undistorted power for optimal performance. With the Neumann's Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide, the KH 310 A is designed to produce an accurate stereo image regardless of the environment. The result is a soundstage that is three-dimensional, with pinpoint accuracy.
The MMD waveguide is a central feature of the KH 310 A, providing panoramic imaging across a wide listening area. It operates using complex algorithms for optimal dispersion of midrange and high frequencies, up to 21 kHz. This eliminates unwanted diffractions and reflections, ensuring a precise audio experience.
The KH 310 A uses a tri-amplified system, with separate power amplifiers for each driver. This includes 150 watts for the woofer, and 70 watts each for the midrange and tweeter. This setup ensures each driver operates within its optimal frequency range, providing flawless performance even at high playback levels.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the KH 310 A offers balanced XLR inputs and back panel controls for bass, low-mid, and treble levels. This allows for seamless integration into any studio setup and the ability to compensate for room acoustics.

Amazing tools.
I spent a lot of time looking for a new pair of monitors for my stusio. I had been using a pair of Mackie 828 mk1s. I wanted something with more definition in the mids/highs. After trying out a number of monitors I went with these - the closed cabinets means the bass is super tight and fast with little overhang and they go real low. The mids and and tops were like a revelation. These monitors are not hyped, dipped etc anywhere and so not as an exciting listen as many monitors I tried but they are a revealing one. It is vital to make sure you treat your room well though in order to get the best out of them. The one thing that would be handy would be a on/off switch on the front! Love them!
