It's the perfect solution for smaller control rooms, combining Genelec's Acoustically Concealed Woofer (ACW) technology and Smart Active Monitor (SAM) technology for an impressively linear and wide-ranging sonic experience.
The ACW technology enables superior imaging, extending the coaxial acoustical radiation concept to bass frequencies. Hidden inside the monitor's cabinet, the dual woofers use the entire front baffle as a giant Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW), contributing to a massive "sweet spot" and effective separation for midrange and high frequencies.
The SAM technology provides accurate monitoring by calibrating its level, timing, and equalization to your room. This ensures you hear the original nuances of your source accurately, without color or distortion. Finally, the monitor's Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) delivers focused nearfield sound with minimized cabinet edge diffraction.
