Thought it was going to be a lemon, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Compressors. The effect that I didn't really understand too much, but knew was important for the music I was going to be making. Figured since this one was available for a reasonable price, I took a gamble after using the Loop Core.
Construction is solid. If I had any complaints, it's the footswitch and the learning curve of setting it up. The footswitch feels like a heavy toggle switch and it takes serious input to turn it on and off. This pedal is not for hitting on the fly to tighten up a tone - it has to be a deliberate action to turn this thing on.
Furthermore, given that there is little to no data about what the circuit is cloned from, fine tuning was a hassle. But with a bit of experimentation and assistance from an acquaintance on Discord, I have it dialed in just so!
