With Core-Image technology, the Nux Tape Echo captures the unique characteristics of the original Space Echo, including bass, treble, repeat rate, intensity, echo volume, and reverb volume. It also brilliantly mimics physical features like wow, flutter, and saturation.
Engage in seamless sound manipulation with the device's straightforward controls. Adjust essential parameters like bass, treble, time, repeat, level, reverb, and select (repeat pattern) with a few simple turns. Dive into advanced settings with a short press and hold of the select knob for saturation, wow, flut, kill dry, and exp. Use the footswitch for self-feedback and create a mesmerizing loop of sound.
The Nux NDD-7 Tape Echo is not only a delay pedal, it also doubles as a looper with its SOS mode. Press both ON and TAP footswitches to engage this function, allowing you to record, play, and dub as you please. Blown Away
At the time of writing this review, I am new to the pedal community. So I cannot compare it to other space echo pedals, like the kind Boss makes to digitally reproduce the classic Roland Space Echo unit from the 70s. I use mine with drum machines and synths. I love this little guy. I mainly use it to get some of the spacy psychedelic sounds found in dub reggae. I'm not disappointed.
