Review: Orange O-Edition Headphones - Everything Recording

everythingrecording.com

Orange's O Edition Headphones deliver a surprisingly natural sound profile with a well-balanced frequency response, making them a standout choice for audiophiles. Their understated design is a refreshing departure from flashy competitors, while their lightweight build and included accessories enhance usability. However, the ear cups may be a tad small for some, potentially leading to discomfort during extended listening sessions. Additionally, availability may pose a challenge as they are not widely stocked yet. Overall, these headphones combine quality sound and sleek aesthetics at a reasonable price, but be mindful of the fit.

Orange 'O' Edition Headphones Review - Bedroom Producers Blog

bedroomproducersblog.com

The Orange 'O' Edition Headphones strike a balance between aesthetics and sound quality, boasting a sleek design and a neutral EQ response. While the sturdy packaging and elegant build impress, the on-ear design may not suit everyone, leading to some discomfort during prolonged use. Sound-wise, the headphones deliver a transparent audio experience, with a slight emphasis on low-mids that some may find beneficial for mastering. However, the lack of swivel joints and the fit could detract for users accustomed to over-ear comfort. Overall, these headphones represent a solid first effort from Orange in the headphone market, but potential buyers should weigh comfort against performance.

my fav headphones for studio

Our flagship headphones have been designed to capture the very essence of Orange. These headphones feature our custom Voice of the World™ speaker drivers with a natural EQ that delivers every detail the producer intended. These durable headphones are made for the road, along with the case, we’ve included 3 removable cables to use with these headphones – each with a different feature to suit your requirements (clean straight, built-in mic and built-in mic and volume slider). True Sound Reproduction: The 40mm drivers have been engineered for a tight and rhythmic bass response and an articulate top end. A purposefully neutral EQ response makes for an open and revealing sound stage with detailed layers of separation in the mid range. Complex passages are faithfully reproduced without colouration, and with natural ambient noise isolation courtesy of the closed-back speaker enclosure design, the ‘O’ Edition headphones create a truly immersive experience to suit all musical needs.

Comfortable: Soft padding and adjustable speakers gives the best comfortable possible with studio quality headphones. The light design means you’ll forget your wearing headphones for long sessions in the studio or even those long-haul flights home.

Noise Isolation: Without using digital technology we’ve made every effort to reduce outside noise with these headphones. The soft padding helps remove unwanted noise around you while the plastic reinforced with soft rubber further dampens any audio leaking out of your headphones – or in!

Made to last: Constructed to the highest specifications, the ‘ O’ Edition Headphones blend classic British elegance with a reassuring solidity. A subtle black-on-black Orange logo embossed across the padded headband and the iconic Orange Crest etched into the brushed stainless steel arms signify an unwavering commitment to quality. Hard-wearing ABS moulding ensures these cans will stand up to the rigours of modern life – in the studio, your home or on the daily commute.

Connectivity: The ‘O’ Edition headphones are compatible with most smartphones and come supplied with two detachable 3.5mm jack cables, one with a remote control and integrated microphone for voice activation and hands free use on the go. Gold plated jacks ensure better signal transfer and resistance to corrosion.
