The CMS-2 Stereo Condenser Microphone by Sanken

The Sanken CMS-2 is a high-end Mid/Side (M-S) stereo condenser microphone designed for professional music recording, broadcasting, and live sound applications. Its unique one-point capsule layout delivers an exceptionally natural stereo image with precise phase coherence, making it ideal for orchestras, choirs, ensembles, and ambient recording. Featuring Sanken's proprietary push-pull capsule technology and ultra-thin titanium diaphragms, the CMS-2 offers transparent sound, low self-noise, and outstanding high-SPL handling. Compact and lightweight, it provides flexible stereo width adjustment through external M-S decoding while maintaining excellent detail and imaging.
