Unlock the universe of sound with the Snazzy FX Tracer City—a versatile multi-effects pedal that stands as a beacon for creative musicians. Whether you're a DJ, producer, or guitarist, this pedal is your passport to sonic exploration. Imagine a device that effortlessly transitions from subtle tonal colors to the most outlandish audio transformations, all while maintaining the integrity of your original signal.

The Tracer City is equipped with a true analog multi-mode resonant filter, perfect for injecting new life into your drum loops, synths, or guitar lines. Thanks to its powerful ±15 volt rails, akin to those found in analog synthesizers, it offers superior headroom and tone quality. This means that whether you're experimenting with gentle envelope follower effects or diving into aggressive filter sweeps, your sounds will be rich and full-bodied.

What sets the Tracer City apart is its dual modulation sources—an envelope follower with up and down modes, and two external CV or audio inputs with independent depth and expo/lin switches. These features provide you with a playground of possibilities for sound shaping, enabling you to craft unique tones that reflect your musical personality.

This hands-on device is built to inspire creativity, offering endless potential for both beginners and seasoned analog synth users. From driving your signal into smooth overdrive to modulating inputs with external sources, the Tracer City is ready for any sonic adventure you can dream up.

Erica Synths - Beat reviews Snazzy FX series

ericasynths.lv

The Snazzy FX Tracer City is an intriguing contender in the realm of analog filter-boxes. While it competes well, the standout features are found in its sibling pedals, Wow & Flutter and The Mini-Ark, which are highly recommended for their unique sound qualities. Tracer City offers numerous controllers for experimentation, making it suitable for both live and studio settings. Despite its robust offerings, it doesn't quite outshine its counterparts, leaving it as an interesting, albeit not essential, piece of gear.

Weird and wonderful

As a guitar player, at first I wasn't sure how to use this thing. It wasn't cheap, but looked fun so I saved up to buy it. It is not intuitive, you have to play with for a while but it can make some marvelously weird noises. You can plug other things into it, too, like drum parts or synth and tweak them. Quite frankly, I will never be able to shred, so "boxes" help me find a unique sound. If they help cover up playing deficiencies so be it.
