Mostly love it
The limitation of two analog inputs is confounding, and after careful. consideration, sound up narrowing the crop available input expanders (had to provide optical output in front of Apollo, in ADAT or s/pdif format,) to one that has on-board DSP, and intergrates tightly with primary DAW, Cubase Pro - Steinberg’s UR816C, which furnishes WC i/o for interfacing with larger digital systems. The other flaw i encountered is that the Console app doesn’t commit an input pair to Mac System sound, which makes it awkward, when playing a track in Finder (e.g.: spacebar audition, which lacks a unique volume control,) to work out parts, etc., before launching app for recording.
