Versatile fuzz

You can get some almost tone bender esque sounds if you eq it right. Super fun to mess around with and great for shoegaze.

Wish I saw more love for this pedal!

This was my first fuzz pedal, and honestly, nothing else I've played lives up to it! I think the premise of this pedal is so key: most of the fuzz tones we love are a fuzz pedal going into a cranked gainy amp--the volume of which most of us mortals don't really get to play with. This pedal gets that sound, which is why, to my ears, other more classic fuzz circuits can't live up to the velvet fuzz.

This pedal is amazing, i have tryed it at Regent Sound here in london and i fell in love with it within seconds. The build quality is incredible ,details are perfect and the graphic is elegant and badass at the same time. The sound is very classic but with an ear to the more modern fuzz. Controls are easy and very sensitive and the the switch between "tight" and "big" says it all about the versatility of this pedal; the "tight" switch gives you a fuzzy sound but sith a distortion feel, it dosen't rage around all over your frequencies! The "big" switch takes you to the pure fuzz sound with frequencies that each it other and all those beautifull stuff. It is my go to sound for solos, no doubt.

Good but Not my kind

I've used it on my last concert in CY. It was my first time using a fuzz pedal on a stage but it performance was great

poonce_dong

Fantastic modern fuzz.

A lot of thought has gone in here. nearly all distinctive fuzz sounds can be made with this. I use it as a very specific lead style fuzz. The perfect dirt pedal.

Because Timmons travels so much, it’s important to have a durable pedalboard that covers all his tones but weighs less than 50 pounds—case included. Timmons is a total cable guy and his signal flow starts with a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah before heading into the centerpiece of his board, a GigRig G2 switching system. Included in the loops of the G2 are a Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST-200, Dunlop Volume X, Strymon TimeLine, Carl Martin Andy Timmons Compressor Limiter, GNI Analog Stereo Dual Chorus, a beat-up Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer, MXR Phase 90, and a JHS AT (Andy Timmons) Signature Channel Drive. Tucked underneath the top row of pedals are a Wampler Velvet Fuzz, GNI Octa Fuzz, an Electro-Harmonix POG, a Keeley-modified Boss Blues Driver, and finally a modded JHS Angry Charlie.
