The real deal
The recent rerelease of the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal enjoyed a lot of coverage from the Guitar community. I was toying with the idea of hitting the button.
In the meantime, my wife and I went on holiday this June in Rome. Whilst there we visited the Pantheon and for some reason it was my favourite tourist spot. Once home again, I went online with a view to learning more about The Pantheon, the results of my google search for 'Pantheon' delivered several items for the Wampler Pantheon.
After watching several videos and reading reviews, it became apparent that this pedal is basically a Marshall Bluesbreaker on steroids.
A few days later, I visited Regent Sound on London's Denmark Street, entered empty handed and left with the Pantheon.
Our band had a headline spot at a London Blues Festival in July '23, I used the Pantheon Overdrive live for the first time, my guitar tone had never sounded so sweet.
I cannot stress just how great this pedal is, with both single coils and hum buckers, the Pantheon Overdrive by Wampler will satisfy even the most fussy of overdrive tone chasers.
