Critic Reviews

Yamaha MOX 8 review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Yamaha MOX8 is a versatile keyboard offering great sound and portability. Its strengths include a robust soundset and the ability to function as a USB Audio/MIDI interface. However, the interface is not user-friendly, and the stepping filter detracts from the otherwise impressive sound quality. Overall, it's a solid option for those seeking Motif XS-like functionality in a more portable and affordable package, but it requires patience to navigate its complex interface.

Powerful Workstation

I purchased this keyboard to use for live shows. The piano sounds are great, the feel is good, and it's very light to move around. I love the powerful synthesizer section, and the arpeggiators are super cool. I'm actually using the MOXF8, which is an updated version of this keyboard.
