Description
Unleash your inner rock legend with the 1960's Fender Jaguar in Lake Placid Blue, an iconic instrument that captures the rebellious spirit of the era. Crafted during a time when music was a driving force of cultural change, this guitar stands out with its distinctive offset solid body and shorter 24-inch scale length, providing a unique playability that caters to both rhythm and lead styles.
The Jaguar's unmistakable charm lies in its innovative design elements. It sports two slender single-coil pickups that deliver a crisp, articulate tone, contrasting the more traditional Fender sound. These pickups are accompanied by individual selectors and a lead/rhythm circuit switch, offering a versatile range of soundscapes for the creative guitarist. The addition of a floating tremolo system invites you to experiment with shimmering vibratos and expressive bends, perfect for those who dare to push musical boundaries.
Aesthetically, this model is a feast for the eyes, featuring a classic Alder body complemented by a Maple neck and a Rosewood fingerboard, all wrapped in the striking Lake Placid Blue finish. Whether you're diving into the gritty depths of punk, the raw energy of grunge, or the eclectic vibes of indie rock, the Fender Jaguar is your trusted companion, echoing the sounds of legends like Kurt Cobain and Johnny Marr.

There is little known about this guitar, it has only ever been seen in one picture and there are no videos of him playing it. The guitar may have been sold or was destroyed in the fire in john frusciantes house in the 90s.
Rumoured it was given to Jimi as a gift, from Brian Jones, of The Rolling Stones. The picture was taken at "Top of the Pops", in August, 1967. A curious fact is that, in the picture, the guitar was upside strung and unplugged.
