Indeed Beyerdynamic
Probably the best standard headset, a bit more expansive than an AKG headset, but it's worth-it. The sound quality is good, but the cable feels kinda stiff.

Excellent well-rounded reference headphones
A very nice sound to my ears, with a sparkly top end and rock-solid bass, and plenty of clarity. Incredibly comfortable, and the pads being replaceable is a nice bonus! In my opinion, one of the best headphones for its price.

Amazing comfort and sound on closed-back headphones
I was looking for a good all-around studio/mixing/casual listening headphone set without breaking the bank, and initially I was angling for the Audio Technica ATH-M50X or the Sennheiser HD-380, both which sound excellent, but after trying them on I noticed they clamped on pretty hard and I could tell that they would cause ear fatigue, which drives me crazy. These solve that problem and are possibly the most comfortable set I have ever owned (maybe tied with the KRK KNS 8400), and they sound just as good as the aforementioned sets, if not better. A little pricey, but arguably the best you can do without venturing into way more expensive open-back headphone territory. Note that they CAN be driven by a mobile device, though to be enjoyed to their fullest capacity a headphone amp is highly recommended. One weird thing: The pair I have are the 80 ohm model, though they say "DT 770 Studio 80 ohm" on the cans themselves rather than "DT 770 Pro 80 ohm". I cannot find the "studio" version on the Beyerdynamic website, so I am assuming it is just a re-branding.

Best soundstage ever
Bought the ones with a 32ohm impedance. They're great headphones but feel kinda too bassy to produce on (and really sibiliant).
Absolutely jaw-dropping of a soundstage though... Don't know if a closed headphone I'll own can ever top this...
