Hard as a stone

It's a rock-solid, heavy pedal. I use it with the Headrush Core. It meets my needs. However, the design could be a bit more minimal.

Solid, does it's job.

So many guitar tone junkies say when used as a volume pedal in the chain, it takes something away. This is a widespread attitude towards this unit.

So I use it as an expression pedal with the MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe.

I give it 5 stars as it does this job perfectly.

erik_james

Indestructible.

Very high quality. Works great as an expression pedal for my rackmount effects system, serving as a wah, volume, pitch bend, or any other effect that uses an expression pedal.

Beast volume!

After some consultation I went with this because of the negativity i've heard about other volume pedals using a string and after playing around, this is definitely worth. Stereo in/out and good at the end of my chain for its low impedance. Smooth rocking. My only issue with this is the volume swell isn't as smooth as I'd like, which I'll need to test and see if the 500H version of this can fix. Besides Vertex, is there any recommended mods for this?

Big pedal, horrible design

It is a very good volume pedal but it’s terrible that they just did this design with those senseless top sides avoiding us the possibility to comfortably use angled connectors.
