Best guitar that I ever got (and probably the last i will ever buy)
This guitar makes other brands look miserable and poor. The attention to detail, the craftsmanship, the choice of woods and the quality of the setup, makes this guitar easily THE best guitar I ever bought, and it will probably stay with me for as long as I'll live.
This guitar cames with a strange choice of string gauges: 0.50-0.10, and can make some unexperienced player shy away. Duesenberg also sells a custom 0.50-0,09 with lighter gauge strings.
The Tremolo is addictive. Pickups are low output.

Superior German engineering.
I don't know what magic voodoo they put into this guitar. All I know is that I love this thing.

Playing a Duesenberg Starplayer TV Electric Guitar
Brynjar Leifsson, the lead electric guitarist of the massively popular band Of Monsters and Men has been noted to be a frequent user of a white Duesenberg Starplayer TV, along with the Fender Jaguar.
"I use a Duesenberg Starplayer TV and a Fender Jaguar. They're both great in their own ways. Last January, we were getting ready to go into the studio to record some songs for the worldwide release of the album. Before that, I walked into this guitar shop and saw the Duesenberg. I'd never seen a guitar like it in my life. I bought it without any clue what I was getting, but I was really surprised. It's sturdy, and it sounds good. Already, I can tell it's going to be very reliable."
-Brynjar Leifsson; Interview with Music Radar
During Hay's 2007 performance at The Independent, he briefly used the orange Duesenberg Starplayer TV.
Best Guitar I’ve ever Played. Period. Makes me play and sound better.” – Butch Walker
At 2.09 in this video you can see Carl talk about his Starplayer. He got this guitar recently, maybe in 2011. He acquired this guitar right before My Morning Jacket started to work on "Circuital". He loves the tremolo bar, which is specific in Duesenbergs, as well as their pickups and tuners.
This Starplayer TV is used by Jody Davis in live shows, as seen in the photo. Jody's version is non tremolo. This is a clip of him playing it in Jesus Freak.
