Description
Meet the Epiphone 2020 Epiphone Coronet, an icon reborn. This spectacular electric guitar brings you the best of both worlds, combining the time-honored features of the original 1959 design with modern refinements. Built for the passionate, energetic rock ’n’ roll lover, the Coronet is the perfect blend of vintage aesthetics and contemporary functionality.
Sporting a symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body, the Coronet gives you easy access to all 22 medium-jumbo frets on the Indian laurel fingerboard. The hand-filling medium "C"-shaped neck and 12-inch-radius fingerboard make it a rhythm player’s delight. This vintage-style guitar’s set neck construction ensures unlimited sustain, making every note you play ring out beautifully.
Under the hood, the Coronet boasts a single Epiphone PRO P-90 Dogear pickup that's designed to respond with sensitivity to your picking nuances. It growls when you dig in and sparkles when played clean. It's perfect for those who love the articulation of single-coil pickups but want a bit more depth in their tone.
With its stripped-down design, high-quality CTS potentiometers, and rock-solid Lightning Bar tailpiece, the Coronet is a true showstopper. The distinctively shaped white butterfly pickguard, adorned with an eye-catching stylized “E” logo, and the reduced-size Kalamazoo headstock with the attention-grabbing Epiphone Bikini badge, complete the stylish look.

It's a really straightforward guitar with a lot of character.
It's great for garage punk (think Billy Childish or Swell Maps) and a nice counterpoint to my offset Fender, which I love but I feel the tyranny of choice sometimes).
Preferred Settings + Usage:
A single P90 was good enough for Johnny Thunders.
