Great guitar for amateur musician
Like most of people, I began with a less quality guitar, this one is my first real guitar, she is really interesting but it took some month for me to control her and learn how to use it correctly. With her you can play Rock, Blues, even Metal or Jazz, the 3 pickups are really interessant and you need time to know how to use correctly the middle pickups, after this, she sound good and for anything. If you want a not expensive polyvalent SG, she is a great choice.

Love it
I've owned this guitar for about 4-5 years, the gold wears off the hardware pretty quick but thats not important, this is hands down my favorite guitar I've ever played. Did lots of recording with it and play it almost everyday

Hunter owns a epiphone g400 sg. He states that this is the guitar that spawned his love for epiphone. he bought this guitar with money he gained from tutoring english for a summer. the guitar has a set of budda shark bite pickups. the pickups are similar to a duncan black winter
In the early 2000s, Seth Putnam performed using an Epiphone G-400 Custom, as seen in this photo. You can tell that this is the epiphone version and not the gibson version by pulling up pictures of the two of them next to this picture, the epiphone verion has more of a curve in the headstock where the tuners are
