Little brother

I have a love/hate relationship with this guitar. Note: I have the Limited Edition TV Yellow version. On one hand, it plays like your average SG. Neck is perfect for a bolt-on, the smooth matte finish makes for moving around the neck easy and the guitar is super lightweight. However, you get you basic Epiphone parts which hinders things. The Heads are TERRIBLE. Good luck keeping the G in tune! The pickup, while serviceable, just doesn't have that classic SG sound at all. If anything, you'd have to look at this guitar as a work in progress. Put an extra $130 into it for new heads and a Gibson '57 pickup and you'd have something worth talking about!

I love SGs

I got this thing a week before I got my '61 SG Special. I like it, but I wish the neck wasn't set so far in. The pickup is also really microphonic, and of course the tuners are shit, but it's a lovely little guitar
