Critic Reviews

Ernie Ball Expression Overdrive review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Ernie Ball Expression Overdrive impresses with its innovative treadle control, allowing for dynamic foot-controlled overdrive. It's robustly built with a sleek gold finish. However, its always-on buffered status might not appeal to purists who prefer true bypass pedals. While offering a unique hands-free experience, the pedal's price may deter some, though its expressive capabilities can justify the cost for those seeking new performance dimensions.

great pedal

I love this pedal. I have not used it on any songs yet because I bought it around the same time as the Slash Double Neck SG. I modeled my "Octopus Fuzz" expression octave fuzz circuit after this one and both this one and the Octopus Fuzz work great. I recommend it.
