A great studio, practice, and small gig amp
The Super Champ X2 is the best-kept secret in the Fender tube-amp lineup. Its clean channel (#1) is fantastic, beautiful on its own and a perfect pedal platform. The other channel (#2), while still tube powered, has a selection of mods that try to imitate other amps. That's cute and all, but I never use it. It also has a bank of digital effects that can be used on either channel. I use the reverb. It's excellent, and indistinguishable from the real deal. It's a very conservatively rated 15 watts. It has a USB out with speaker emulation that's good for recording, but I prefer to just stick an SM57 right up against the grill cloth. It's sounds brilliant, clean or dirty. Pair this with your favorite overdrive or fuzz pedal, and you're in business.
A Delicate Big Boy
This guy takes wonderfully any kind of pedal, and even if I haven't still understood its construction details, it sounds definitely "tube", with an evident blackface tone (even when you try to play other amp simulation, to be honest....). I love its tones, anyway. The only big issue with my SuperChamp X2, it's its reliability. Three times in the first 18 months simply stopped workin, and I had to send it back to the factory (excellent and free service, by the way) for repairs, but in the first 18 months I had it with me just for 6 months, and I had to buy a backup amp. Now, it's running fine (knock on wood) and I love it for its sound, its dimensions and weight. And that's really something...

Just about the best bang for your buck in a small tube amp
I think this amp really does give you the best of both worlds--real tube sound with a few tasty effects. It sounds great and is imminently portable, but I think the combo amp was purposefully crippled with a smaller 10" speaker enclosure to prevent it from cannibalizing Fender's other small guitar amps (e.g. Blues Jr.). My X2 was slightly modded: the head was moved into a Champion 40 enclosure and paired with an Eminence Cannabis Rex 12" speaker. Talk about improving on near-perfection. What a great little amp.

Just an all around great amp
This amp is simply amazing especially for the price, it offers a great tube amp sound and the internal effects are pretty good as well. It's small and compact but offers higher volume when needed. I would highly recommend this amplifier.
Great tube amp
It have really good response and dynamics. It has fender fuse which lets you add different pedals and effects to your tone.
