Gene Ween is seen using a 1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Gold Top as a backup guitar during a 2003 Quebec tour. In this video it’s specifically tuned to the 5th to play "The Argus," as shown in the YouTube video "Ween The Argus Live in Chicago" Additionally, at the end of "Roses Are Free," a stagehand hands him the Gold Top.

Clem Clempson, renowned for his contributions to rock and blues, is confirmed to have used a 1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Gold Top as his main guitar during his tenure with Colosseum and Humble Pie. This is substantiated by visual evidence from a performance of "30 Days in the Hole" by Humble Pie, showcased on the Midnight Special channel on YouTube.
This was one of Delaney's main electric guitars he used throughout his career. He can be seen using it at various shows from the 60s through to the 70s, including with The Plastic Ono Band at the Lyceum in December of 1969.
