In 2014, Joe Don Rooney began using a Gibson SG Futura in a bullion gold fade vintage gloss finish during the Rascal Flatts Rewind tour. He continued to use this guitar on the band's 2015 Riot Tour, specifically for the song "Me and My Gang," where it was tuned to Drop C#. This usage is confirmed by a Getty Images photograph of Rooney performing with the guitar onstage. After the 2015 Riot Tour, the Gibson SG Futura was not used in subsequent Rascal Flatts tours.
In this YouTube video at the 0:14 mark, Camilla PNK can be seen playing a violet Gibson SG Futura. This is confirmed by her in this article on the official Gibson website, where she says,
