Cheap Fender in a box

Its so much versatile with 3 knobs for EQ, Level, Drive and Voice (which adds character). For its price, its totally worth if you cant afford a proper amp or if you want to play/record in silence.

great price value ratio

This one or fairly similar ones are offered by brands like joyo or caline as are others of the line of several similar knockoff pedals after designs from Tech 21's sans amp character series, but Tech21 isn't providing their original designs in an affordable fashion. I ended up selling it but it got a lot of use. The magic control is the voicing control. I often use no amp, so they provide grid and tone.

Good sounding pedal

Out of the box, for recording it is ok. It sounds almost as good as some of my IRs. However I've modded it bypasing the cab sim circuit and it became my goto preamp. I wish the factory version was made with the cab sim bypass switch, it would be one of the best sounding Fender blackface-type preamps, period. I pair it with my hx stomp IRs and I like it better (more organic sounding) than the sims in the hx. I stack it with the cts killer v preamp/od and it sounds and feels even better.
