Great

Found in a charity shop for £100 along with the president this early 60's archtop senator plays better than my president because the neck is pretty decent and untwisted.

In this video of Kasabian covering Iggy Azalea's song Fancy in the Radio 1 Live Lounge, Sergio Pizzorno can be seen playing a Hofner guitar, which most closely matches the Senator model. While the tailpiece differs a bit, Senators do indeed exist with the same tailpiece as the one Pizzorno is using. Pizzorno's Senator guitar also has a reddish pearl pickguard. The markings on the neck and headstock as well as the shape of the body and the f-holes are consistent with the Senator model. At 3:14 in the video, a good look at the entire guitar can be had.

The suggestion that it is a 50s Senator is with its control panel, which is designed in a circular plate, as opposed to the 60s, in-line control panel plate. This Hofner Senator may just be one of Rick's early guitars, which he would then either sell or trade for better instruments, such as the Hofner Club 40, and the Fender Stratocaster.
