A good clone of a Klon

I was looking for an alternative to TK-style solo-overdrive. I found reviews that the Barbarossa Gargoyle was similar to the Centaur-style overdrive. Since I had a DemonFX Jan Ray for clean boost, I decided to use their Centaur-style overdrive. Overall, I got everything I wanted in terms of sound, but after a while, the pedal started beeping when I turned it on. Replacing the button solved the problem.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

My current pedal settings: Gain: 4 oclock; Treble: 3 oclock; Output: 11 oclock.

In this video That pedal show interviews lee, and goes over his rig. in his pedals rig, Lee has a Klon Centaur clone. This was made diy by a guy from scotland. He states that he bought this on ebay because it is easier to get one of the copys for $100 rather than thousands for the actual pedal. He states that in the studio him and his tech a/b the real vs the copy. he found that the tonal difference was small enough that no one would notice when he uses it live
