Flanger / Tremolo

I got this in lockdown for the Flanger and that's what I use it for. It's just right for what I want. Simple as that.

Update: I've just switched this to 'Tremolo' for the first time (literally to find out what a Tremolo pedal actually does) and it's R.E.M.'s "Monster" Album! Instantly! Literally! Absolutely brilliant! I've just had loads of fun! Nice! lol

Functional

The Behringer Fx-600 is one pedal on a huge list of the most hated. It is not that it is a badly made pedal but rather I feel that it is a pedal that when trying to cover a lot falls short. leaves us waiting for some other detail to finish balancing the sound. This is a multi-effect pedal. I personally use the pitch, it took a while to set it to my liking and almost by mere accident I found two quite useful parameters. I like the Synth sounds from Allan Holdsworth, and with this FX-600 I manage to do the trick (decent quality obviously but not exceptional). It helps a lot that the pedal works in stereo. It does not have good clarity: with an eq or compressor it improves. Warning, some times it gets or makes weird noises, so I tried various power supplies and solved it. The structure and physical composition is very basic (a plastic that seems to breaks just by looking at it). The sound of the Pitch and the Delay are usable. Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, and Chorus honestly don't quite convince me but it works fine. I like to use up to 4 delays in cascade (not always), and well this FX-600 sometimes I include it as one of the two Long Delays with which I trace my sound (the most admospheric and Digital with very little volume), attached to the Echo Park (type Reverse, Tape Mod, Mix in the middle without which I just feel inferior) and a Digitech PDS 1002 at full volume (the best sound in Short Delay I have used) and a Carbon Copy (like a Short Delay much more Slappy). And while the FX-600 doesn't stand out a third of what the others do, it's still part of my background sound. So i must say its do his own part very well.

Great pedal for experimenting with effects

This pedal has odd sounds for the effects it has in it but I think that's what makes it unique. I also see this pedal as a great pedal for someone who wants to either experiment with odd modulation effects or for someone who is new to modulation effects and would like an affordable way to experiment with them. I personally think all the effects on this pedal sound great except for the pitch shifter mode. The pitch shifter is very wobbly but I guess that makes it unique to anyone out looking for new crazy sounds to add to their playing.

asce0fspades

It's good but......

It's good but the phaser is very weak the flanger is very good chorus amazing delay really good tremolo could be better pitch shifter is good but the phaser is very very weak it has to have Distortion behind it to even make it seem like it's even there at all

kyle_louden

Works okay with Bass but not great.

Works okay with Bass but not great.

I mostly only use phaser and chorus effects for that echo'y acid/stoner rock sound. Even then it doesn't always work with some songs. The delay and tremolo settings have not been much use to me and the the pitch shift is basically pointless on bass.

alfredo_antonio_riquelme_fuentes

very good

Add six robust digital effects to your pedalboard with the Behringer Digital Multi-FX FX600 effects pedal. Choose from 24-bit, studio-grade effects that include flanger, chorus, tremolo, phaser, delay, and pitch shifter. very good pedal. (especially the chorus and flanger)

A must-have

Insanely versatile pedal for a ridiculously low price, excellent! I recommand it

hollywoodcrash

Good multi fx pedal for amps with Effects send, as the effects it has work best through an amps effects section.

Good pedal, easy to use once you play around with it. I highly recommend using it through a good amplifier's effects send section, otherwise I doubt you'd notice the effects this pedal makes.

teodozjan

Good and bad at the same time

The settings are very limited. It is not possible to get extremes especially with delay. But is great to realize whether you really want to have any of this effects.

The diode is blinding bright. And bypass seem to be ok.

I personally like flanger from it

mal_coppins

Ok but not great

this pedal does what I need it to do. just wish it could blend better
