KRK's baby!
These sound clear and have a decent bass response, though I find myself producing on headphones 99% of the time. I have the white casing vs. black. Look awesome and the yellow cones are so distinctive.

Little Beast
The 5" version of the new Generation (3rd) are built solidly and are pretty good speakers, the online "negative" thing about these rockits are that you have to regulate the bass manual to -3dB.
First studio monitors offer balanced sound, but lack bass
My first jump from consumer speakers to actual studio monitors. Was between these and Yamaha HS7s, but glad I went with the Rokits. They are admittedly not too bass-heavy, when budget allows I'm definitely gonna get a sub, probably the 10s. Very well balanced overall, won't lie to you about how your mix sounds.

Great sound for any starter, or even pro user. Heavy duty construction. Plus, as an added bonus, they even look cool!

Surprise for the performance
I bought a pair of Rokit 5 with UR242, they really give me a good inspiration and clean sounds to produce, without them, I can do my harmonic mixing well.....!

Those KRK monitors of yours must endure some serious punishment?
