The M-Audio Keystation 49es has 49 synth-action keys that provide you the quick response you need to pull off fast lead lines and play realistic brass and percussion parts. Not only does this keybed make the Keystation 49es nice and light for portable use, but it also makes it an excellent add-on keyboard for your full-sized rig, offering the speedy response a fully weighted keybed can't provide.

Pitch, modulation and other control sources To the left of the Keystation 49es keyboard are a pitch and a modulation wheel for control of these essential synth and MIDI parameters. The volume slider offers a bonus - it can be assigned to control any other MIDI value! Use it to add expression or perform a filter sweep while you record a sequence. In addition, two advanced function buttons can be used to assign other MIDI messages.

Perfect simple keyboard

After spending 2 weeks hassling with a more complex midi controller, I chose to ditch it altogether to get the keystation. its a perfect, no frills keyboard that works well. no complaints

Does what it's supposed to do, and is very intuitive.

What more can you ask for? Besides playing an actual piano, this keyboard fits right on my desk and works consistently when I need it to.

The M-Audio Keystation is a solid keyboard It needs no power supply, just plug it it to your computer using a usb and you are set! What is great is that it is simple and affordable, which makes it great for beginners.
