Description
Experience the perfect blend of electric and acoustic tones with the PRS P22 solid body electric guitar. Crafted for musicians who crave versatility, this guitar features a PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system that captures the rich, natural acoustic sound of its chambered mahogany body. Seamlessly blend these acoustic tones with the classic humbucker sounds from the 53/10 pickups, or channel them to a separate amplifier for a distinct performance edge.
The P22 is built with a stunning flame maple top and a solid mahogany neck, offering both aesthetic appeal and tonal balance. The mahogany body provides a warm, resonant sound, while the maple top brightens the tonal spectrum, ensuring clarity and depth. Enhanced by PRS's durable V12 finish, the guitar delivers a feel akin to well-worn nitro, ensuring it both looks and performs beautifully on stage or in the studio.
Whether you're exploring the sweetened high-end tones of the humbucker or the authentic acoustic voicing, the PRS P22 offers an expansive sonic palette. Ideal for musicians who refuse to be limited by a single sound, this guitar is your ticket to innovative musical expression.

PRS P22 Goldtop - My No. 1 Guitar
This is my no.1 guitar of all the PRS guitars I own. She is name Goldie.
She may not be the most gorgeous looking guitar in terms of the woods used but her tone is NUMBER 1. It's amazing that looks have no influence on the tone of the guitar. The sound is balanced on all settings. When you need to do a gig and need a quick "grab and go" guitar that you can always be confident to get good sounds out of...this is the one. Has never let me do as yet.
