Paul Reed Smith P245 Electric Guitar w/Piezo – MusicPlayers.com

musicplayers.com

The PRS P245 guitar is a masterclass in versatility, blending vintage aesthetics with modern technology like the L.R. Baggs/PRS Piezo system. It excels in delivering both electric and acoustic tones, making it a versatile tool for musicians seeking a broad tonal palette. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and it offers endless tonal options, thanks to its innovative pickup configuration. However, the Mix/Mag mode limits independent tone adjustments for the Piezo signal, which is a slight drawback. At over $3,750, it's a premium investment, but its features justify the price for serious players seeking quality and flexibility.

Had to post this picture of my current favorite live guitar. Like my P22 and Hollowbody, the P245 has a legitimate sounding piezo pickup. Beyond that, it has a HUGE electric tone. Enabled with coil taps, I can get big humbucker sounds or more subtle single coil textures. This is the first guitar I've owned that I could absolutely play on every song. Thanks @prsguitars!
