Great guitar - better than many that are more expensive

This was the first electric I bought when I finally got serious about learning how to play. I did quite a bit of research - but even then you don't really know what you're looking for. Though I highly recommend it; trying out many guitars at this stage of your path, only helps so much. It felt right, and many people said good things about it, and from a features per dollar standpoint it ranked highest, so I took the plunge. Even though it is the least expensive guitar that I own it still is about the best value and it plays as well as many guitars that cost much more. It was intonated well from the shop, stays in tune, the pickups are good if not great - certainly haven't thought about changing them - and it plays incredibly well. I guess this could be because I am more used to it than my other guitars because I've had it longest. The other day when I plugged it in after not using it for a while, my partner, unsolicited, said "I like that guitar the best - it sounds the sweetest". You could make a much worse decision than to start with this PRS. It has grown with me over the years and I've never thought about replacing it.

Hard to explain how I picked this guitar out of the hundreds on display when I finally upgraded from cheap stuff. I've had it for some years now, and it's done its job for my band's local gigs and recordings. The finish and feel are unrivaled and the pickups are fine for my distorted tones. It was the start of expanding guitar collection.

A fantastic quality instrument

As a lefty, finding quality instruments is slightly harder and usually at a premium.

This guitar is sublime to play and sounds great. The neck position is perhaps not as warm due to the 24fret neck, but in contrast to the lovely mid-rich, honky bridge position it still sounds plenty different in comparison.

The coil tapping adds even more possibilities!

got one of these in japan and its beautiful, mine does need its frets done though so it doesnt play as well as it could be; only issue is that the tone pot is really hard to grip in order to coil split, so these will be changed probably

It’s a PRS

When you buy a mid priced PRS like my SE custom 24 Limeted Ed in satin black specifically you buy a reliable instrument with great quality sound and durability i found the keys a little to shit I like Gotoh non locking and only accept this if the guitar has no locking nut and added the lefendary sh 4 jb in the bridge and I’m thinking of getting a sh 2 for the neck pickup and I blocked the trem using a tremel no because I wanted a hard tail as my others were floyds

I was looking for a specific guitar, but when i played this.... You can do anything from blues to metal. If you think that PRS is the "90s metal guitar company" or something like that (i did), just try one. After i gor it i realized that It was usted for southern metal and stoner rock, and that's cool. I love this guitar and It stays in tune very very nicely. Lovely flamed maple top.

Great Value, Awesome Feel

Despite the lower price tag, this guitar feels better than some $1,000 guitars I've played. It holds tune fairly well for non-locking tuners, is beautiful and plays like a dream. Sounds quite good as well! I'd probably give it 4 and half stars if I could, but would rather round up for this instrument than down.

PRS SE CUSTOM 24 One hell of a guitar

Right out of the box, this thing was amazing, bird inlays,maple neck, push pull knob, and a tremolo, for 1k this is definitively one of my favorites in the price range, the guitar is super versatile, slap some thick strings on here and you can "Djent" All you want

Great tone for the price. I would recommend this as a second guitar because it is a great transition from something like a Squire but not as much as an investment as an American made instrument.
