A great upgrade from more entry-level mics.

I had been on the market for a new mic, something I hadn't tried before. I upgraded to this from my Audio Technica AT2020, and was quite surprised at the difference. Less EQ needed to get the vocals to sound right. Just sounds silky smooth. Cannot wait to try more products from Rode.

Solid, affordable condenser

I use this mic for rappers and singers. It's clean and bright. Overall, it sounds great although it might be just a little heavy handed in the 1-2k range. Nothing some very simple EQ work can't handle. Also, this thing is less than $250, so it's an easy purchase. Good choice as an entry-level condenser.

Great all around mic! Captures anything you put in front of it....honest and clear with presence. EQ to taste and you have a all purpose tool at your finger tips. Did I mention Rode backs this product with a 10 YEAR warranty?? Yeah...you can't beat it. (comes with XLR cables, stand mount and pop filter)

Beautiful microphone.

Huge upgrade from the Blue Snowball I now use as a desk mic for voice chatting. Nothing much to say about this mic, everything comes through crisp and clean. Would recommend for sure.

Quality mic for a very reasonable price

This mic will get you the sound you desire. The pop filter included could be better but overall the mic is a great leap into getting serious with your music. Leaps above any USB mic that is offered.

Good microphone overall.

It's a pretty great microphone. I haven't used it much yet but for the little while that I've used it, it's sounded great. Still working on getting a microphone stand, so I can't really say much about it in detail.
