Desert island bare bones mic.
I use this to record practices, song ideas, podcast dialogue and when I'm shooting any kind of video related to music on my phone. Obviously a major point of division between reviews is the fact that it is IOS compatible only*. However, it handles extremely loud situations very well and has multiple diaphragm patterns to get the most out of such a small microphone.

This mic is good to have if you don't want to record with your crappy phone mic. But it doesn't really make a huge difference with the sound. It helps a lot and it's DEFINITELY not a waste of money. It's good to have if your looking for better sound quality on your phone.
