Good little compressor with a lot of flexibility, not a lot of durability

One of the few things I dislike about this pedal is the Tone Print feature, which requires a hard connection to a computer/phone/tablet to really get into the weeds with tweaking. I mean, it is cool that you can patch in tone prints from the TC Electronic Tone Print community, create your own or use custom ones from other well known musicians, the experience differs from device to device.

Also this thing is not built to last. I used it extensively for gigs this past year, both worship gigs and cover band gigs. The pedal is starting to die, there are weird sounds coming out of the pedal if I touch it the wrong way and I've trouble shot pretty much this pedal to death and I realize it's from the pedal itself. I play out a lot more than most do and I put my pedals through the ringer, this guy couldn't hang unfortunately. Tin foil hat theory: I think the digital nature of the product, with the ability to tone print and teak parameters via a USB Connection might make this pedal a bit more fragile. There's more circuitry going on and an extra peripheral on this thing that I feel might contribute to the lack of longevity.

Other than those gripes there is a lot I love about this pedal itself. I can sculpt and shape this guy to my hearts content, create custom prints and save/name them. It's kind of overwhelming and for the price it's kind of ridiculous with what you can do. How does it sound? Honestly it sounds great, but It's kind of meant for the tweaker and I believe would be perfect for studio/recording work. It's not as simple and/or as durable like an MXR Red Comp, but if you keep these things in mind, this pedal is still a good deal.

Cannot recommend this guy for live gigging unfortunately. Highly recommend something analog and build like tank.

Basic compressor pedal

Good little compressor pedal, does the job. Doesn’t take up much realestate. Can be very versatile with tone print pre selections.

Very flexible

This thing has a big range of different presets of compressor settings. You can even make your own! I always use it on clean sound.
