Turtle Beach Recon 50X/Recon 50P Review - RTINGS.com

rtings.com

The Turtle Beach Recon 50X is a budget-friendly gaming headset that delivers decent sound quality, characterized by a good bass response, and a great microphone, ideal for gaming scenarios. However, it falls short with its plasticky build quality and awkward fit, which may not suit all users comfortably. The headset's lack of noise isolation and limited durability are notable drawbacks, making it less suitable for use in noisy environments and long-term reliability. While its wired nature ensures zero latency, the non-detachable cable can be a hassle. Overall, it’s a passable choice for cost-conscious gamers but doesn't outperform competitors in the same price range.

Ok...

These are obviously made for gaming, but my ASUS TUF headphones were half the price, and the sound is indistinguishable between the two. The cord also gets in the way.
