Description
Introducing the Walrus Audio Iron Horse V3, a bold, punchy distortion pedal designed for musicians who crave versatility and power. This high-gain behemoth is a fresh take on a classic distortion circuit, delivering thick, riffy, and rowdy sounds that can be finely tuned to your exact preferences. Whether you're looking to create clear, overdriven sounds or unleash a full-on distorted onslaught, the Iron Horse V3 has got you covered.
The magic lies in the Si/LED (Silicon/LED) knob, offering a wide range of distortions. Plus, the pedal has been revamped for a more user-friendly experience. The top-mounted jacks and soft relay true bypass on/off ensure seamless integration into your existing setup.
For those familiar with the previous versions of the Iron Horse, the hard clipping toggle has been reimagined as a blend style potentiometer. This feature allows you to blend between symmetrical silicon and diode clipping for a unique variety of tones. The silicon clipping diodes deliver a high amount of compression when the knob is set to the left, while rotating the knob to the right brings in LED clipping with a smaller amount of compression. Setting the knob at noon blends the two for more complex clipping sounds.
