AKG K81DJ (K518DJ / K518LE) Review | The Headphone List

theheadphonelist.com

The AKG K518 DJ headphones are a robust, portable option with impressive isolation, perfect for DJs on the go. With a durable build and versatile folding mechanism, they stand up well to wear and tear. The sound is warm with a powerful bass, though it lacks control for complex tracks. Comfort is a mixed bag; the strong clamping force ensures a secure fit, but can be tiring over long sessions. While not ideal for critical listening, they are enjoyable for casual use. At a competitive price, they offer good value, especially for bass lovers and those needing strong isolation.

Gets Uncomfortable After A While

Nice pair of headphones that's easily packed away to take on the round, although it can get a little uncomfortable sometimes as the ear cups sit on your ears instead of going over them. The low end way too audible with these headphones.
