Unleash the legendary tones of boutique tube amps with the Astral Toneworx Liverpool Express overdrive pedal. This compact powerhouse is designed to capture the essence of the iconic Trainwreck amps, revered by music legends like Warren Haynes and Mark Knopfler. With its JFET-based circuitry, the Liverpool Express emulates the lush, touch-sensitive response of vintage vacuum tubes, delivering rich, harmonically complex overdrive tones.

The pedal's intuitive layout mirrors the original amp's controls, offering a highly interactive experience. Dial in your perfect sound with Volume, Gain, Presence, Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs, while two toggle switches—Bright Cap (Br) and Mid Boost (Mb)—expand your tonal palette. Engage the Br switch to infuse your sound with a sparkling, harmonically rich touch, or disengage for a fuller, lower-gain crunch. The Mb switch provides a powerful midrange boost, perfect for cutting through the mix during solos or adding beefy weight to rhythm parts.

Versatile and adaptable, the Liverpool Express can be used in multiple setups: integrate it into your pedalboard, connect directly to your amp's effects loop, or plug into your DAW for instant recording magic. With the ability to run on a standard 9V or up to 18V for extra headroom, this pedal is ready to elevate your tone to new heights.
