Sounds fine but needs feet
Not much to say about the sound, it's the Great classical sound plus extra features like the tap tempo. I especially like how the tap tempo button is very easy to hit compared to the bypass switch despite looking the same from the outside- together design there. The LEDs are super bright, which is a little annoying at home but I imagine would be great at an outdoor gig!
My biggest problem is that the battery compartment on the center of the bottom potrudes a little. This would be fine if there were feet in the corners something the pedal. However, there aren't any- it just slides around when you step on it. It really needs the rubber underneath like its Boss counterparts.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
I'm currently using this with the Regen at 2 o'clock, delay at 8-9 and high speed in order to produce a reverb like effect, as I don't have a dedicated pedal for that yet.

Incredible user experience
Analog delay, if that's what you want, the M 292 is the one.
Simple to use, mix, regen (repeats) and Delay knobs to dial in the delay and tap tempo to ensure the repeats are always bang on time.
The mod button engages the modulation which is only added to the repeats and not your guitar signal, controlled by the speed and width knobs.
A great feature indeed.
Bright switch so you have both Carbon Copy original and Bright pedals at your disposal.
A brilliant unit that sees daily use.

Perfect Analog Delay
This is a really great sounding analog delay, which is very easy to use.
Bright switch; engage to have your delays nice and clear. Turn it off to blend them with the background.
Mod depth and Mod speed; from a nice chorus-effect to very, very wobbly...
Tap tempo and Division button, makes nailing intricate patterns easy.
It get's really dirty if have it repeat endlessly.
The pitch of the delays change when changing tempo. You can do some fun stuff with this, like octave jumps and divebomber effects.

Good delay
Really liked the Carbon Copy Deluxe but in comparison to a Deluxe Memory Man XO the modulation missed some depth and shimmer and the repeats start to distort rather quickly when choosing longer delay times. Features like a bright switch and tap tempo is great, as always MXRs build quality is magnificent.

Nice crunchy analog repeats
Fantastic with a light to medium overdrive, with the bright switch engaged theres a wonderful crunch to the repeats. turning on the modulation section will instantly warm the tone, and can bring you to an almost memory man style delay. it's also great with clean sounds, a little modulation and a slightly lower mix gives a great warming ambiance to your sound. I'd highly recommend this to anyone after an analog delay.

The pedal can be seen in Yvette's pedalboard, all the gear is listed in this article. This pedal was listed in the gear list of Young's 2018 She Shreds interview. It is not sure whether the editors of the magazine meant on the Carbon Copy or the Carbon Copy Deluxe, as both of those are analog delay pedals.
