Stands up sonically but not physically

Sounds lush and bright. Love the filter matrix but in comparison to boss BF2 it doesnt stand against time as well. Took me a while to find a good one, as well as might have bias problems depending on region where biased originally so stay alert

Simply amazing

I have borrowed it from my friend for a few days and I must say - this thing sounds huge. It's an old, 80's version. Of course it's hella huge, it's not true bypass, it doesn't have led, it makes some noticeable noise, blah blah blah... Trust me, once you plug it in and start playing thru it, you forget about all its' imperfections. I felt like I could just close my eyes and set every knob to random position and it would sound lovely. Couldn't stop playing The Police and Cure thru it :D It also worked very well with early Smashing Pumpkins stuff - Rhinoceros, Hummer, Starla - shivers!

Literally my favourite pedal ever

This pedal isn't very user-friendly: no LED, not true bypass, gigantic footprint. But it sounds so damn good, you won't give a shit about any of that, believe me. You can't say you have a complete '70s, classic-rock sound if you don't have some version of the EHX Electric Mistress on your board. You can feel this pedal right in your chest! Whoosh!

What a fantastic pedal-

What a gem. I'm not a "flange connoisseur" but I really dig it. Can be subtle or completely insane & self oscillate if ya wanna. It's a criminally under used part of my pedal collection. I just plugged it in for the 1st time in years before I wrote this review. Another thing that makes Equipboard awesome. I end up revisiting the piles of gear I don't use regularly & they get dusted off. Psyched. I wanna grab my Boss Digital Dimension DC-3 chorus & get all The Cure early stuffs with it. Fun.

I have the first version from 1978 and it sounds really great. It's the sound of The Cure and a lot of other bands.

The Other Great Flanger

This flanger is the Cure to every thing that ails. The guitar Smith that weilds this beauty will disintegrate. It's like being lost in a forest. It's just like heaven.

Great knobs

Mine's an oldy, no 9v but the cable attached. Ofcourse here's some noise but I don't mind. Ehx has this great big knobs that allows to play with the settings with your fee.
